R&D Barrells
Last Saturday these seven game individuals took the ultimate challenge to evaluate our 15 R&D barrels and provide some valuable feedback that will enable us to develop our unique Moreton Rum over the next 2 years.
Big thanks to Em and AI (TwoRumChicks), Kirk (EastCoastVodka), our good friends Brian and Pete (who have both been part of the journey over the last 2 and bit years), Arnold and Carlos, the faces behind Peninsula Distilling. Unfortunately the third leg (PeiOnn) was stuck at home.
A big thanks to Neli Coffee for allowing us to utilise their air conditioned premises for this private event.
As part of the afternoon we were pleased to announce that 12 months after receiving our ATO licence, we now have our approvals from MBRC Town Planning to develop the Distillery.
So watch this space as we get our Electrical and Plumbing in place over the next 2 months.
If all goes well the Redcliffe Peninsula will have its own full fledged Distillery open for business in April, based within the Clontarf Industrial Estate.
