launching early 2026

Our primary product will be Rum and this takes time to create and mature.

Our Rum brand reflects not only that the Redcliffe Peninsula is part of the greater City of Moreton Bay, part of the greater Moreton Bay coastal zone with the beautiful Moreton Island on our doorstep, but also the shipwrecks that line our shores and are part of the Moreton Bay history.

During our research we came across some writings that indicate an area that is now part of the local Golf Course once housed a Sugar Mill and Sugar Cane was grown and cultivated on the Peninsula. Under Australian law we can only call our product that is made from Molasses, Water and Yeast (two strains of yeast) as Rum once it has been aged in a barrel for a minimum of two years.

Our first barrel was filled on 23rd December 2023 and all things going well will be ready for release in early 2026.

We also have 17 small 25litre barrels that house our experimental yeast blend strains, also filled on 23rd December 2023. We will look to blend these after 12 months into a larger barrel to rest for the next 12 months. The results for this will be anticipated with interest to see how this blending matures.

We are planning to lay down a barrel once every month commencing October 2024.
