What better way than to pay homage to our Peninsula than have a reference to the unique structure that was built to connect the Brisbane mainland to the Peninsula than the Hornibrook Bridge.
The image that we chose depicts the day the Hornibrook Bridge was opened to the public and the first vehicles drove across from Brighton to what is now known as Clontarf. The Hornibrook Bridge was constructed from 1932 to 1935 and was officially opened on 4th October 1935 (reference https://www.redcliffebook.com/post/hornibrook-bridge-construction-1932-35).
TRIBUTE Aged Vodka
Once we had received our ATO licence to manufacture and store, we commenced production of our Neutral base, Vodka, and ended up with a significant amount and with the continued delays with obtaining our DA approval from the council, we decided to put some of that Vodka into a Spanish Oloroso barrel we had sitting here with some fortified wine from Mount Nathan Winery.
The end result is this unique flavoured Vodka that has taken on it’s colour from not only the wine but the barrel. It was in the barrel for approx. 2½ months during our 2023 Spring season and it is a limited release as a tribute to our late Still Maker and Cooper. This unique result will not be repeated, so get in quick before they sell out!
